Headhunting fees in Mexico typically range from 22% to 33% of the hired executive's gross annual salary. At Mexican People HR we charge staggered fees (part at the start, part at shortlist, part at close) or a pure success fee, depending on the agreed model.
How long does it take to fill an executive position?
A typical executive search closes within 30 to 45 calendar days. C-level or highly specialized positions can extend to 60-75 days. The difference compared with traditional recruitment is that headhunting prioritizes quality and cultural fit over raw speed.
Do you offer exclusivity on the search?
Yes, and we recommend it for critical positions. Exclusivity allows our consultants to invest time, resources and reputational capital in approaching the best candidates on the market, without competing against other agencies for the same profiles. Exclusive searches deliver better results in both quality and time.
What information do you provide on finalist candidates?
Each finalist comes with an executive dossier that includes: an updated resume, a career summary, a competency analysis, psychometric results (Cleaver, DISC, 16PF or whichever instrument we apply), a competency-based interview report, validation of achievements, documented 360 references, the real salary band and motivators for a change.
Do you offer a guarantee if the hired executive doesn't work out?
Yes. We offer a 90-calendar-day replacement guarantee. If within that period the candidate resigns, fails to meet performance expectations or it is mutually determined that there is no cultural fit, we run a new search at no additional cost to you.
Can you handle searches in cities outside Mexico City?
